Is L Bar Beef all-natural?
We use no antibiotics, hormones, insecticides or feed additives in our finishing process. If an animal ever needs to be treated for illness, they are removed from the beef program. All our young calves receive vaccinations for bovine diseases in their early lives, but we never use growth hormones at any stage of production.
Is it Grass fed?
It is grass developed and grain finished. Our beef animals are grass-developed on native West Texas pastures before being finished for approximately 100 days on a carefully balanced, high-roughage grain ration. This finishing program is designed to enhance natural marbling while achieving the ideal balance of flavor, tenderness, and texture — without producing excessive fat.
Do you raise the cattle yourself?
Yes, we raise and manage every animal in our beef program from birth to harvest. We emphasize responsible nutrition and attentive management practices to support natural growth and overall well-being.
Is the Beef aged?
Each harvested animal is carefully aged for 14 days to allow natural enzymes to enhance tenderness and deepen flavor, ensuring a premium eating experience in every cut.
How is L Bar Beef packaged?
All beef is professionally processed and individually vacuum-sealed in Cryovac packaging, portioned for convenience and long-term freezer integrity. This method preserves freshness, protects quality, and allows families to enjoy consistent cuts meal after meal.
How much freezer space will I need for bulk orders?
We recommend at least 3.5 cubic feet of freezer space for a quarter of beef, which is around 100 pounds of finished product (varies by animal). Factor accordingly for a half or whole beef.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimums! You can buy a single cut of beef or package or ground beef. You can conveniently select your cuts from our freezer display in Company Printing, at 3419 Knickerbocker Road, San Angelo, TX 76904.
Do you ship Beef?
We currently do not, for logistics and cost reasons. We proudly offer our products from our retail location inside Company Printing and deliver bulk orders to surrounding areas.
